Waterloo Moonrise

Saw a nice moonrise just outside Waterloo (Ontario, Canada) tonight. This was off Sawmill Road, about 3 km southeast of Conestogo.

This was the Harvest Moon which is the full moon when the change in moonrise time, from one day to the next, is at a minimum for the year. This normally occurs in September each year.

Thank you. It is always amazing to me how beautiful nature is and how dramatically it can change from one day to the next, while other elements of nature stay the same year after year. A hundred years from now, the moon and clouds could be in the exact same position and formation, while the landscape is filled with houses instead of an empty field.
